Phideaux is a Senegal Parrot, hatched on December 10, 2001.  He joined the rest of the Birds, Admiral, Mrs., Igor and Lucretia on March 9, 2002.  The Admiral is currently teaching him to recite Lincoln's Gettysburg Address.  (He's working on "Four").  Phideaux met a tragic death on September 6, 2003, apparently the victim of a raccoon or other wild animal.
